Government systems get audited, inspected, and held to standards commercial software never sees. We build for that from the first line. Section 508 accessibility. Role-based access. Audit trails on every action. Security built into the architecture. None of it is an afterthought here, because in this work, the afterthought is what fails the review.
In practice
What we’ve built for government.
We’ve delivered Appian systems across public-sector programs, including work for the Department of Veterans Affairs. For a county constables office in Texas, we rebuilt a delinquent-tax-sale process that took up to 14 days and often came back inconclusive. The Appian version runs in 2 to 3 days, with better results and more revenue recovered. Our Grants Manager and Contracts Manager products, both live on the Appian AppMarket, were built for exactly this kind of government use.
